New Animal Sighting on Mother's Day

A baby squirrel fell out of a tree and scurried onto our terrace. Before the dogs could make dinner out of him, Evie was able to squeeze behind the freezer and save him. Petrified, this little squirrel was in shock and wouldn't move. We set him on the ground near a tree hoping his mother woud come looking for him soon. We left him alone, but watched protectively from a distance, that no other animal would make a meal out of this tiny little creature with the biggest eyes ever.

Thankfully Mother Nature was kind today and reunited them, with a little help from Evie. A happy ending on Mother's Day for a mother squirrel & her baby!
