Permaculture is about using natural methods to improve soil health, conserve water, and reduce waste. The goal is to create a balanced natural system where each element supports the others, and this principle guides all decisions, such as: strategic planting of plants that help hold water in soil during droughts, planting plans that will feed horses, etc.

At the top of our hill and just beyond, you'll find two horse stables and an arena surrounded by pure jungle. For their safety and comfort, the horses are kept in the stables overnight, and during the day, they roam freely in different pastures.

Most of Kindred Spirits is accessible to horses and they are rotated through the pastures depending on the weather. As you wander your way to the yoga shala you can give them fruit peels and rinds, or just say hi and spend some time in their glow.

To reach the shala, you'll stroll through a peaceful pasture garden that surrounds the house, followed by a lush jungle path leading to your yoga class. Along the way, you're likely to encounter horses grazing, birds singing, butterflies fluttering by, and the distant roar of howler monkeys echoing from the towering jungle trees.

The community as a whole believes in nurturing and safe guarding the land. Ricky and Lori at Treevana have planted many tropical edible herbs, fruits and greens to savor the local nature.

The central spot in Treevana is Casa Madre where you can meet other guests, enjoy the pool, read, play games and enjoy the jungle views.

All tree houses and wood art you see at Treevana was made by Ricky and his brother Renny, with the vision and direction of Lori guiding their efforts.

At Cosmic Mountain we keep as much of the wild jungle as we can, ensuring the wildlife keeps its home as we enjoy its presence and buzzing energy.
