Wild Water Spirit

A women's journey of yoga, horses and remembering in Camargue, France

The Invitation

There are places we visit, and places that call us home to ourselves.

The Camargue is one of those places.
A wild land of water and wind, where white horses move through ancient marshes, black bulls graze beneath an endless sky, and flamingos rise from shimmering lagoons.

For seven days, a small circle of women steps away from everyday roles and into this landscape.
Not simply to travel through it, but to connect, ride it and breathe it.
And perhaps to remember something of ourselves within it.

Who am I beneath all the roles?

❋ Your hosts: two mother-daughter teams

This journey is held by two families.

Terry & Alexia run Kindred Spirits on our horse farm in Costa Rica. Terry lived in France for many years, speaks French fluently, and has spent decades learning the language of horses. Alexia holds the creative and practical heart of every journey.

Opaline is a graduate of our Equine Yoga Teacher Program, and the Camargue is her home. She guides our Family Constellations work. Her mother caters for our circle all week, so every meal is a home welcome rather than a hotel buffet.

Two mothers, two daughters, one circle of women.

❋ Before we ride, we connect

Horses speak without words: through movement, energy, intention, space and trust. When we become quiet enough to listen, they invite us into their world.

Each day begins on the ground. We meet the horses at liberty, learn to read their language, and let trust grow before we ever ask to ride. Then we ride the Camargue the way it asks to be ridden: through marsh and water, toward the sea, alongside the gardians and their bulls.

Connection is not something we create. It is something we remember.

❋ Yoga along our journey

Yoga is our gentle companion each day: a balance of Yin Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

Yin opens the body and releases what we hold. Yoga Nidra takes us inward, loosening old patterns and planting new intentions. Kundalini awakens our energy and reconnects us with our Sat Nam, the true Self beneath all expectations.

Just as the horses teach us presence, trust and harmony, our practice invites us to surrender, listen and simply be.

Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
