New Moon in Scorpio Gathering October 23, 2014
I am a little late in adding these photos, but I wanted to share our "little women gathering" we had to celebrate the new moon and new beginnings with my daughter Eve, our fun loving happy volunteer Chelsea from New Zealand and our new volunteer Shireen from England who joined us just the day before. These last few days were spent saying goodbye to friends, guests and volunteers such as JaneAnn, sweet Danielle and Colorado cowboy Josh and now with the new moon, we welcome new ones into our lives.
Flowers & herbs freshly gathered from the gardens, Essential Oils which each one chose personally, sage and candles decorated our circle.
As we laughed and shared this moment, just being silly, happy, we recited prayers and our goals, dreams and desires on this New Moon for new beginnings. Each one adding a drop of essential oil, and a handful of ylang ylang & hibiscus flowers into the bowl of sea salt set in the centre ( later to be used for bathsalts). The aromas of cinnamon, patchouli, lavender and rose hung in the air around us, mixing with the nocturnal fragrances of the jungle night.
These little moments in time, sharing amongst women of all ages, fills me with gratefulness that they are in my life and visiting for awhile. Terry
“Let us fall in love again
and scatter gold dust all over the world.
Let us become a new spring
and feel the breeze drift in heaven’s scent.
Let us dress the earth in green
and like the sap of a young tree
let the grace from within us sustain us.
Let us carve gems out of our stony hearts
and let them light our path to Love.
The glance of Love is crystal clear
and we are blessed by its light.”
